Squad BT Radio (Single)

Winter doesn’t care about your gear, so we only carry what keeps working when the weather turns. The SQUAD BT Radio is one we actually run, whether we’re skinning up a ridge or ripping across an alpine meadow on a sled.

Bluetooth helmet comms are great until your partner drops over the next roll and you’re out of range. The SQUAD puts out 2W over FRS radio frequencies, so you get far more reach than a typical Bluetooth communicator. It pairs with your Bluetooth helmet audio system, so you hear and talk from inside your helmet while you move.

It’s built for the conditions that come with the mountains. The IP67 waterproof and dustproof housing shrugs off snow, spindrift, and the occasional swim, and the cold-weather lithium battery is rated to -30°C, so it’s still alive when your phone has already quit. At 135 g, you’ll forget it’s on you.

Snowmobilers get a wireless push-to-talk button that mounts on the handlebars, so you can transmit without taking a hand off the grip. Skiers and riders wear it on the included shoulder harness or belt clip, or clip it to a pack with the lanyard and mini-carabiner. Same radio, whichever way you get up the hill.

This is the single, so it’s a good fit for adding one more person to your crew or replacing a radio that took a swim. Starting from scratch with a partner? Check out the pair.
